Not On Our Watch
The rise in political violence — endorsed explicitly and implicitly by many MAGA members of the House majority — remains one of the most concerning and dangerous elements of the House leadership’s agenda. During the second anniversary of the January 6th Capitol insurrection, we saw an opportunity to call this agenda out. To do that, we organized a week-long mobilization in partnership with Common Defense, convening over 30 veterans from across the country in Washington to call on the new House Majority to unequivocally denounce political violence, and hold members who refuse to do so accountable. Through meetings with Members of Congress, paid media programs, and press engagement, we exposed MAGA members as power-hungry leaders who prioritize political interests at the expense of the American people.
Day 1, January 3: We created and distributed a MAGA guidebook to Democratic and Republican offices as well as other hotspots around Capitol Hill. This book features 39 MAGA members in the new Republican House Majority and their most extreme and fringe policy positions and statements.
Our veterans took an oath to protect our country from enemies foreign and domestic.

That’s why they're holding the new House Majority accountable for what it is: a party of election deniers and extremists who are endangering the rights and freedoms of the American people. pic.twitter.com/RUM1M3JqyK
Day 2, January 4:Veterans from Common Defense and Courage for America questioned 15 Republican Members of Congress to get them on the record stating their opinions about the January 6th insurrectionists.
.@DerrickVanOrden, we’d like to see the CCTV footage from the Whole Foods you were supposedly in at the same time you were caught on Capitol grounds during the Jan. 6 attack.

Do you really condemn political violence or are you an active participant? pic.twitter.com/PlURVsjZcT

Chris Deluzio (PA-17), Candidate for GA-14 Marcus Flowers, amongst others.
