Reverend Dr. Cathy Clardy Patterson has an extensive career spanning law, finance, and ministerial roles. She practiced law at major firms in both Washington D.C. and New York and during her tenure on Wall Street she became only the second African American woman in U. S. history to be named a Managing Director of a major investment bank. Reverend Dr. Clardy Patterson has always given back to the community and since moving to Arizona has continued dedicating herself to doing just that. In Arizona, she has served as a member of the ministerial staff at Tanner Chapel AME Church, the Vice Chair of Tanner Community Development Corporation, Chair of the Board of Directors of the Scottsdale Cultural Council, a member of the Advisory Board for the University of Phoenix and a member of the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee for Arizona Opera, and the Chair of the Board for Arizona Cares, Inc. She is currently the Vice Chair of the African American Christian Clergy Coalition, Board Member for the Wayside Recovery Center in Minneapolis, founder of the Fountain of Life Church in Scottsdale, and founder and CEO of Empowering Arizona.
