Steven Kling
A graduate of Texas A&M University and former Captain in the United States Army, Steven served two combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq and is a recipient of the Bronze Star, the Combat Action Badge and the Joint Services Commendation Medal. He was commander of a small arms training company in the Army Reserve. Steven was the Democratic nominee for Texas Senate District 25 in 2018. His focus of social activism are in the areas of addiction harm reduction and firearm safety policy, serving as a Senior Ambassador to Giffords Gun Owners for Safety for the State of Texas. He currently works as an executive for a software company and lives in the greater Austin, TX area with his wife Kelsey and twin boys, Everett and Elliott.
